Application: The VIPET - II luminaires are industrial dustproof and waterproof luminaires for fluorescent lamps, produced in isolation class II. They are suitable for the lighting of indoor and outdoor areas, as well as demanding resistance to dust penetration and water jets. Luminaire consists of a few basic parts: body with sealing, optical cover and a metal sheet reflector with equipment. It is further equipped with fastening elements, sealing grommets and clips. Body: Injection technology is used for the body production. The body material (grey RAL 7035) is PC. The luminaire protection is ensured by the clamping of polyurethane foam sealing. Cover: The light active cover is produced by injection technology. The optical cover material (transparent colour) is PC. The measured luminous efficacy is according to the luminaire type 70 - 78 %. The cover surface is completely smooth on the outside for easy cleaning. Clips: For the luminaire sealing and locking the clips from PC material are used. Reflector: The reflector of the fixture is produced from white painted metal sheet, 0.4 mm thick. All the electric components of the fixture are mounted on it. Electric equipment: Inductive or electronic ballasts, two-pole terminal block without screws for the connection of conductors up to 2.5 mm², lamp-holders of fluorescent tube G13 and starter, capacitor. For the connection of the electric components 0.75 mm² insulation class II conductors are used, T 105 °C, white colour. Fastening system: The fastening system of the fixture guarantees that the fixture is dustproof and waterproof even after the mounting. The luminaires are equipped with special self-locking clips, on which they are easily fastened. The joint can be taken apart. The VIPET luminaires can be suspended on a cable by means of self-locking cable suspender. This suspension makes fastening easy and it works with accuracy of ≤ 1 mm. Another possibility is to hang the lighting fixture on a chain via a suspension bracket.
