Explanatory notes
Application: The RAMBO luminaires are designed for premises with high risk of damage. They can be used mainly in prisons, psychiatric medical institutions, gyms, passenger subways, underground garages, subway stations and stations of public transport. Moreover, they are suitable for using in separate pavilions in ZOO and in stables. The luminaires were developed in cooperation with Prison Service Czech republic, Valdice prison, where they are tested in long term. The fixture was developed as modular. It can be produced for any combination of sources (fixtures can be equipped with source for permanent, emergency or localizing lighting). On customer´s request to increase level of coverage, the fixture can be produced in IP67. Body: The body of the fixture is produced from white painted metal sheet. For outdoor areas and IP67 versions is recommended usage with body produced from galvanized sheet. The tube from transparent polycarbonate with 4 mm thick walls, is shifted in the body. The tube guarantees good mechanical resistance against impact. The flammability level of the material is B (difficult of flammability). The tube also can be produced from borosilicate glass or diffusive polymethylmethacrylate. The variant with coverage IP67 requires to end off the tube with sealing plug with bushing M20 (IP67). The whole body is then ended by plastic sides from polycarbonate. The flammability level of this material is C1 (hard flammable). The screws with special heads and special dismantling spanner are available on customer´s request. This equipment doesn´t enable the dismantling of RAMBO fixture with common tools (developed for Prison Service CZ). Reflectors: The reflector of the luminaire is shifted in the basic body. The reflector is produced from white painted metal sheet. The electric components are mounted on it. Electric equipment: The luminaires are equipped with inductive and electronic ballasts, three-pole (respectively five-pole) connector terminal block and lamp-holders of tubes. System of fastening: Luminaires are designed for direct fastening on the ceiling, respectively on the walls of illuminated space by means of four screws.
