Application: The DINGO line of lighting fixtures is designed for the lighting of outdoor areas, municipal roads, parking sites and industrial areas. The simple design of the fixture is suitable for any surroundings, both highways and country roads with busy traffic and mild traffic. They are suitable for both town and village areas, as well for the lighting of industrial zones. Body: The basic body is produced from dark grey colour polyester (RAL 7031) filled with glass fibre. The inflamability of the material the basic body is pressed is V-0 according to UL94 standard, i.e. absolutely flame-proof. The IP54 protection against dust and water penetration is ensured by EPDM sealing. Cover: The light active cover is produced by injection technology. The optical cover material (transparent colour) is PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) or PC (polycarbonate). The polycarbonate cover is vandal resistant. Clips: The basic lighting unit and the light active cover are connected by stainless steel clips. The clips are fixed to the basic unit so that they can´t fall off the unit when mounting on high. The front metal clip is equipped with a special grip fixing the light active cover to the basic unit after the lighting device is opened. Reflector: The reflector is made of high quality stainless material (polished aluminium sheet with high reflectivity). The shape of the reflector, with regard to the optical properties, has been designed via PC graphic and is suitable for both elliptical and tube discharge lamps. The way how the reflector is fastened enables the change of uminous intensity curve of the fixture. Electric equipment: A great advantage of these fixtures is the possibility to exchange the whole ballast part easily. The ballast part is gripped to the basic body by 4 bayonet grips. The ballast part contains the basic holder made of galvanized sheet, 1.5 mm thick, capacitor and choke, conductors with double insulation certified up to 180 °C, ignitor, socket and supply terminal block. The lighting fixtures with a supply terminal block with built-in fuse are used for the lighting of localities where a part of distribution grid is used for public lighting. Fastening system: The fixtures are supplied with four basic flanges - bracket grip (Ø 75 mm, 60 mm); park pole grip (Ø 60 mm); for gripping to the wall; for gripping to the wall corner. It´s possible to supply plastic reduction Ø 60/50 mm for shaft of column Ø 50 mm. The flanges are fastened to the basic body by four screws M8. There is a rubber insert which serves also as lead-in cable grommet. A collar which enables the fastening of the DINGO fixture on a concrete pole of a distribution line can be supplied on request.
