Application: The PITBUL - N - ENDURA luminaires are fluorescent fixtures designed for lighting of areas with danger of explosion. The luminaires were certified by FTZÚ, Ostrava - Radvanice (type examination certificate number FTZÚ 06 ATEX 0168). The PITBUL - N - ENDURA luminaires are equipped with electronic ballast and inductive light source ENDURA. The advantage of the source is very long operation life (approx. 60 000 hours). The luminaire equipped with the source is suitable mainly for the areas with diffucult and expensive change of the light source. The fixture consists of a few main parts: body, cover and reflection metal sheet with electrical components. Body: The body of the fixture is produced from white painted metal sheet or stainless steel. On both ends of the fixure, there are holes for for plastic or nickel-plated cable glands M20x1,5 or M25x1,5. Cover: The cover is made of the hardened glass. The joint of the body and the glass is solved by means of three hinges on the one side and three screws on the other side. The level of the coverage is guaranteed by the profile sealing which is inserted in the body of the fixture. Reflector: The reflector from white painted meta sheet, 0.5 mm thick, is put in the basic body. The electric components are mounted on it. System of fastening: The luminaires can be fastened by five ways - through backup by M8 screws, by lifting eyes, by outriggers screwed on the side of the body, by ceiling fixtures or by ceiling frame for the possibility to install the fixture in the recessed ceiling.
