Application: The SANTA discharge light fixtures are designed for the lighting of indoor and outdoor areas, e.g. halls, stores, workshops, sport facilities, petrol stations, etc. Body: The basic body is produced from metal sheet, 1 mm thick. It is painted by a special industrial technology. The protection against rain (IP 43) is guaranteed by a special sealing of polyurethane foam applied by a full robot line. Cover: The lighting cover is made of hardened glass resistant to high temperatures (up to 200 °C). For a part of the cover a different colour is used to hide the ballast space. The fixture is equipped with a special grip which fixes the cover glass to the basic body when the fixture is opened. The screws used for fastening the glass to the fixture are protected against falling out. Reflector: The reflector of the SANTA fixtures is made of a high quality stainless material (polished aluminium sheet with high reflection). The reflector has a special shape so that its technical parameters meet the customer´s requirements as much as possible. Electric equipment: A great advantage of these fixtures is the possibility to exchange the whole ballast part easily. The ballast part is gripped to the basic body by 4 bayonet grips. The ballast part contains the basic holder made of galvanized sheet, 1.5 mm thick, ignitor and choke, screwless three-pole terminal block, capacitor, conductors with double insulation certified up to 180 °C, clip for supply conductors, socket. Fastening system: The ceiling fixture is equipped with four bayonet grips enabling easy mounting. The built in modification enables a very easy installation in recessed ceiling due to a special system of fastening.
